چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: The basis of distance learning rests on the independence of the learner. The independent learning-teaching process is an educational system in which each learner is independent and separated from their teacher by time and place. Hence the present study seeks to examine E-learning Theories in general, but focuses on Independence Theory. Methods: The present study was conducted using quantitative content analysis and the research population is all printed and digital papers and documents which have discussed e-learning, distance learning, e-learning Theories, Independence Theory and independent study and etc. which have been found with specific keywords in databases such as Google Scholar, Magiran, Civilica and Noormags in the time span of 1385-1394 and 1990 -2009. These documents consisted of 36 books and articles which have been reduced to 26 valid documents as research samples after restricting the search results. Results: Distance learning is a method based on the principle of self-learning in which the preparation of self-taught teaching materials is of great importance. Distance learning seeks to achieve independence, freethinking and obstinacy of the learner and even promotes linguistic, scientific and cultural pluralism and believes in the paradigm of globalization. Freedom of thought, creative thinking, responsibility and selfcreation are attributes that distance learning has sought to achieve. Conclusion: Contrary to the view of those who believe that distance learning promotes a kind of indiscipline and chaos, distance education actually promotes a philosophical-educational approach that believes in creating critical thinking, destroying exploitation and accepting scientific, religious, linguistic, cultural and intellectual pluralism. An independent learner with self-observational and self-control experiences and perceptions, analyzes self-taught texts and constructs the information world in which they live. They create their own mental models and, based on different knowledge and experiences, they have different and unique understanding of the facts than other learners.

Distance Learning a Place for Application of Independence Learner Theory

Introduction: With the arrival of new communication technologies, the process of learning from the teacher to the learner’s pivot with emphasis on the centrality of the learner has an independence movement and in determining the methods of teaching and assessment practices. On this basis the independence of the learner is one of the fundamental concepts of remote education system. The aim ...

Probabilistic Learning Theory, with Emphasis on Sample Complexity

There are a number of mathematical models of machine and human learning. Here, we survey thèprobably approximately correct' model and some of its modiications and generalisations. Our emphasis is on sample complexity, but we also brieey discuss issues of computational complexity. In this part of the paper we present the key results of pac learning theory, with emphasis on the sample complexity ...

On k-independence in graphs with emphasis on trees

In a graphG= (V ,E) of order n and maximum degree , a subset S of vertices is a k-independent set if the subgraph induced by S has maximum degree less or equal to k − 1. The lower k-independence number ik (G) is the minimum cardinality of a maximal k-independent set in G and the k-independence number k(G) is the maximum cardinality of a k-independent set. We show that ik n − + k − 1 for any gra...

Theories with the Independence Property

A first-order theory T has the Independence Property provided T ⊢ (Q)(Φ ⇒ Φ1 ∨ · · · ∨ Φn) implies T ⊢ (Q)(Φ ⇒ Φi) for some i whenever Φ,Φ1, . . . ,Φn are formulae of a suitable type and (Q) is any quantifier sequence. Variants of this property have been noticed for some time in logic programming and in linear programming. We show that a first order theory has the independence property for the ...

Surveying the Spatial Justice and planning theories with emphasis on Iran’s conditions

Segregation has been widely discussed by social scientists and especially by urban geographers and planners over the past decades. However, regardless of their focus, most of these studies view segregation as an obvious case of spatial injustice. I argue that this implicit relationship between segregation, (in) justice, and space needs to be reexamined. This paper approaches this task by review...
